Dr. Goodrich is a medical toxicology fellow with University of Virginia Health and the Blue Ridge Poison Center in Charlottesville, VA. Currently he is serving as a Fellow in Training with the Toxicology Investigator’s Consortium of the American College of Medical Toxicology. He is an Instructor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Virginia School Of Medicine, and helps teach their Wilderness Medicine course. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, OK in 2021, while simultaneously earning a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration at Oklahoma State University-College of Health Sciences in 2019. He graduated from A.T. Still University-School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona in 2017. His previous career was as a firefighter-paramedic-hazardous materials technician. Dr. Goodrich’s professional interests include critical care, poisonous and venomous biology, wilderness medicine, and addiction medicine. He enjoys hiking, mountain biking, soccer and vintage automobiles.
