Dr. Moore is from Lubbock, TX.  He went to college at Thomas Edison State College, where he studied Nuclear Engineering.  He earned his medical degree from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences.  He went on to complete his residency training at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. 


Dr. Moore has seven years experience in anesthesiology, with a special interest in regional anesthesia, point-of-care ultrasound, and enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols.  He is the first resident to graduate from OSU Medical Center to be Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. During his training, Dr. Moore was selected as the Anesthesia Resident of the year, as recognized by the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologist. 


Prior to medical school, Dr. Moore served 12 years in the United States Navy, where he was a Nuclear Reactor Operator onboard submarines, USS Wyoming and USS Maine.  He has presented two publications at the International Anesthesia Research Society conference and has published work in Anaesthesia


In addition to his practice as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology, Dr. Moore also serves as the Director of Anesthesiology Department Simulation and Clinical Education.  He has designed the current anesthesiology simulation program from the ground up.  He currently lives in Tulsa, OK with his wife, Crystal, and two children, Elizabeth and Nicholas.


In his spare time, he enjoys working on his son’s car, collecting whiskey, and working out at the gym.
