Dr. George AdamVascellaro, D.O. an AOBFP Certified Osteopathic Family Physician who graduated from OSU-COM in 1999 and completed his residency at the rural OSU-COM Durant Family Practice Residency. He was born in Oklahoma and this is home.


Dr. Vascellaro has always been an employed physician by choice for optimal work / life balance.  He has variety of valuable medical practice experience doing family practice, workers compensation, urgent care, fast-track ER, float and others.


In the latter half of his career there has been a transition to medical administration which is also where he plans to finish his career.  He has served as an Associate Medical Director, Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer by title but in reality for 3 plus years this has been a physician executive role medical professional duties involving those of Chief Medical Officer and operational duties of a Secretary of Health role.


Has been a proactive leader in Tribal Healthcare throughout the COVID-19 Crisis serving and protecting the highest risk population for morbidity and mortality as well as performing a key visionary leadership decision tree in anticipating the need for and acquiring the -70 degree Celsius Ultra-cold freezers to accommodate being a regional hub for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for the Oklahoma City Area - Indian Health Service and the Oklahoma State Health Department.


Was featured as the opening speaker in a United We Standcommercial about how Oklahoma Tribes served not only their populations during the COVID-19 crisis but also their communities.
