Dr. Cannon is a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Integris Southwest Medical Center, where he also served his internship.
Board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, he specializes in emergency medicine, trauma care, and medical education.
Dr. Cannon has been actively involved in research and scholarly activities, including studies on massive transfusion protocol optimization and the use of biomarkers in concussion treatment. He has given many lectures over the years and serves as a skills instructor for critical care procedures.
Additionally, he has chaired and contributed to various hospital committees and is dedicated to mentoring future physicians.
His contributions to emergency medicine extend to community service, including sports physicals and medical event coverage.
