Amy Huffer is a highly accomplished professional with a passion for infant and early childhood mental health. With a Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma and a Doctorate in Human Sciences from Oklahoma State University, Dr. Huffer has dedicated her career to supporting the health and wellness of families and preventing social-emotional challenges in young children and is driven by the belief that everyone deserves access to quality support and resources, and she strives to create meaningful change through relationships.  Her expertise lies in providing training and technical assistance to systems looking to enhance how they address the needs of infants, toddlers, and their families.  Her contributions have been instrumental in helping systems build the workforce necessary for evidence-based case management and clinical intervention, which help families address potential challenges early on.  She has been recognized as an Infant Mental Health Mentor by the Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health, a testament to her expertise and commitment. Dr. Huffer regularly provides training and reflective consultation to professionals serving infants, toddlers, and their families, furthering her mission to address workforce shortages and build clinical capacity in early childhood systems.
