Dr. Costner is a highly respected emergency medicine physician and educator, currently serving as the Medical Director of Emergency Department Operations at Norman Regional Health Systems.

She is also the Stroke Co-Medical Director and a Core Faculty member for the Emergency Medicine Residency program at Norman Regional Health Systems.

Dr. Costner earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, she has made significant contributions to the field, particularly in stroke management. Her work has been published in Emergency Medicine Clinics of North America, and she frequently presents at conferences on topics such as stroke and emergency care.

Dr. Costner is also an adjunct faculty member at OSU Center for Health Sciences, where she continues to influence the next generation of emergency medicine professionals.
