The presentations from our original 2023 Bridging the Gap in Pediatric Mental Health Care conference are now available as an enduring material package of 6 AOA Category 1B credits!

 

To receive CME credit for this package, you will need to review all presentations, answer the required attestation, and complete the overall package evaluation.  Upon completion of the evaluation, your credit certificate and transcript will immediately be available.

1. Provide pediatric mental health continuing professional education in an integrated environment to disseminate best practices and improve access to care for Oklahoma’s children and families.
2. Educate participants on new Child psychiatry consultative program (OKCAPMAP) and increase OKCAPMAP participation and utilization.
3. Increase collaboration between the behavioral health and primary care communities.

AOA Credit

The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine designates this program for a maximum of 6 AOA Category 1-B credit(s), and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Osteopathic Specialty Credits

This package is eligible for 4 Neurology & Psychiatry (AOBNP), 3 Pediatrics (AOBP), and 2 Preventive Medicine (AOBPM) specialty credits.

AAFP Credit

Activities approved by the American Osteopathic Association are acceptable as AAFP Elective Credit. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MATE Act - DEA
The lecture, Substance Use Disorders: Short Brief Intervention & Referral to Treatment meets the new Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act requirements from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for training on substance use disorders. Providers planning to receive or renew their DEA registration can earn 1 hour towards their 8 hour MATE requirement by participating.
