The presentations from our original 2023 Virtual Emergency Medicine Review conference are now available as an enduring material package of 18.5 AOA Category 1B credits!

Accreditation

AOA Credit

The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine designates this program for a maximum of 18.5 AOA Category 1-B credit(s), and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Osteopathic Specialty Credits

This package is eligible for 9.25 Emergency Medicine (AOBEM), 1 Internal Medicine (AOBIM), 1 Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS), 1 Pediatrics (AOBP), 1 Radiology (AOBR), and 1 Surgery (AOBS) specialty credits.

AAFP Credit

Activities approved by the American Osteopathic Association are acceptable as AAFP Elective Credit. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MATE Act - DEA
The lecture, Managing Alcohol Withdrawal in the ED: Benzos and Beyond meets the new Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act requirements from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for training on substance use disorders. Providers planning to receive or renew their DEA registration can earn 1 hour towards their 8 hour MATE requirement by participating.
