Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Apply the most current guidelines when managing a variety of common conditions in primary care
  2. Employ tools learned from the program to improve communication with and the care of patients with a variety of concerns and medical conditions
  3. Identify advances in the field of primary care to include pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
  4. Identify non-pharmacologic therapeutic options for patients that can be utilized in everyday practice, including OMM techniques and community-based resources.

Accreditation

AOA Credit

The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine designates this program for a maximum of 18 AOA Category 1-B credit(s), and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

AAFP Credit

Activities approved by the American Osteopathic Association are acceptable as AAFP Elective Credit. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
