Get expert knowledge in a virtual learning network with human performance, sports medicine, and nutrition experts. The curriculum is designed to expand expertise in areas of concussion care, injury prevention, and other therapies and approaches that can help mitigate systematic health threats in the broader Oklahoma population.

1. Become local experts in human performance and nutrition
2. Be prepared, capable, and experienced in working as part of an inter-professional healthcare team
3. Integrate aspects of physical and mental health, cultural competence, and patient and community values to improve the patients’ outcome
4. Become proficient in prevention and health promotion to include general prevention principles, fitness, and wellness principles
5. Exemplify leadership, professional engagement, and advocacy to strengthen the profession of athletic training

AOA Credit
The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credit(s), and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

AAFP Elective Credit
Activities approved by the American Osteopathic Association are acceptable as AAFP Elective Credit. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Commission on Dietetic Registration
The OSU-CME office will provide credit letters to Dieticians who input their CDR # within their profile, however determination of accepting credit will be at the discretion of the Commission on Dietetic Registration or other respective boards.

Athletic Training Board of Certification Credit
Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (BOC AP#: P12117) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers (ATs). This program is eligible for a maximum of (1.00) Category A hours/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.

Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers
The Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences Office of Continuing Medical Education (20231999) is a board approved CE provider and designates this program for a maximum of 1 CE credit(s).
