1. Define core concepts of artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, as they relate to medical practice.
2. Describe current and emerging applications of AI across major medical specialties (e.g., radiology, pathology, cardiology, primary care).
3. Assess the ethical implications of artificial intelligence in clinical practice, including issues of algorithmic bias, data privacy, transparency, accountability, and the impact on patient autonomy and clinician patient relationships.
4. Evaluate the accuracy, validity, and potential biases of AI tools using clinical data and evidencebased standards.
5. Identify opportunities and challenges for integrating AI technologies within ones clinical setting or healthcare system.
6. Integrate the osteopathic principles of holistic, patientcentered care and the interrelationship of structure and function when evaluating and applying AI technologies in clinical decision making, ensuring that technological tools enhance rather than replace the human connection in the physician patient relationship.
