AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), AOA Category 1-A (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours), OK State Board of LSW (1.00 hours), Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure (LPC and LMFT) (1.00 hours), Oklahoma State Board of Psychology (1.00 hours)

The Veteran Care ECHO curriculum is designed for health professionals who want to learn how to support and better care for Veterans. Through the Project ECHO virtual platform, participants learn about military experiences and the impact on a Veteran’s physical and mental health.

1. Identify key aspects of military culture and their potential impact on veteran’s health behaviors and attitudes.
2. Describe challenges unique to rural veterans and how best practices can mitigate those challenges.
3. Explain the importance of collaboration with VA resources and community organizations in enhancing veteran care.

AOA Credit
The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. 

The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine designates this program for a maximum of (1) AOA Category 1-A credit(s), and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

This program qualifies for AOA Category 1-A credit under an exemption approved by the Bureau of Osteopathic Education of the American Osteopathic Association

Commission on Dietetic Registration
The OSU-CME office will provide credit letters to Dieticians who input their CDR # within their profile, however determination of accepting credit will be at the discretion of the Commission on Dietetic Registration or other respective boards.
