Overview

Earn your proper prescribing credit on-demand during this immersive CME Conversation with Natasha Bray, D.O. and C. Scott Anthony, D.O.  During this hour we will explore the history of opioid use and the need for responsible prescribing.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe appropriate pain assessment strategies and Oklahoma regulatory requirements that must be addressed before initiating opioid therapy, including documentation, risk discussion, and Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) review.
  2. Apply Oklahoma prescribing guidelines for acute and chronic pain management, including limits on initial prescriptions, use of patient-provider agreements, monitoring strategies, and risk mitigation practices during ongoing opioid therapy.
  3. Evaluate clinical scenarios to determine appropriate opioid prescribing decisions, including when to initiate therapy, implement monitoring safeguards, consider tapering strategies, or address potential opioid use disorder.

  2. Watch the on-demand proper prescribing session.

  3. Complete and pass the post test before June 29, 2026 at 11:59pm.

  4. Complete your evaluation under "My CME" then "Evaluations and Certificates". 

  5. Your CME credits will be reported to CE Broker on June 30, 2026.
