AOA Credit

The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine designates this program for a maximum of 18.5 AOA Category 1-B credit(s), and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

AAFP Credit

Activities approved by the American Osteopathic Association are acceptable as AAFP Elective Credit. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MATE Act - DEA
The lecture, Managing Alcohol Withdrawal in the ED: Benzos and Beyond meets the new Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act requirements from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for training on substance use disorders. Providers planning to receive or renew their DEA registration can earn 1 hour towards their 8 hour MATE requirement by participating.

To claim your CME credit:  Watch the presentation(s), answer the attestation question, then complete the evaluation.  The evaluation link will be available at the end of the attestation or can be found on My CME > Evaluations & Certificates.  Upon completion of the evaluation, credits will be posted to your transcript and certificate will be available on My CME > Evaluations & Certificates.

Once CME credit has been earned, you will continue to have access to re-watch these presentations at liberty, by going to My CME > Registrations & Receipts > selecting the course name, then Content.
