Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Examine research and learn practical tools to provide effective treatment for pediatric patients, emphasizing the use of cultural practices and familial supports as a protective factor to build resilience and enhance treatment outcomes.
  2. Analyze and assess methodologies in clinical practice to effectively integrate evidence based medicine and culturally responsive strategies to enhance pediatric patient care.
  3. Acquire knowledge in establishing trust and rapport with pediatric patients, and their family members ensuring a professional and psychologically safe environment that holds space for cultural beliefs of patients.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received at least 72 hours prior to the conference will receive a refund less a $50 cancellation fee. After 72 hours before the conference begins no refunds will be granted for cancellations. If you wish to cancel and request a refund in accordance with the above Cancellation/Refund policy, send an email to our office.

The OKCAPMAP and OSU-CME reserve the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.

*No refunds and no credits will be granted for "No-Shows" to the Conference.
